About the role
Kongsberg Maritime is looking for a marine electrical engineer to join its team in Ålesund. Designs power distribution, battery systems and automation for electric and hybrid vessels.
Responsibilities
- Design energy storage systems for hybrid ferries and offshore vessels.
- Apply your battery systems expertise in daily office work
- Apply your power systems expertise in daily office work
- Apply your plc / automation expertise in daily office work
- Work safely and follow company HSE procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and project teams
Requirements
- BSc Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Good English; local language is a plus
- Right to work in the EU (visa support may be available)
