About the role
Damen Shipyards is looking for a naval architect to join its team in Gorinchem. Defines hull form, stability, structure and performance of ships and floating structures.
Responsibilities
- Lead hull and stability design for the next generation of electric tugs and crew vessels.
- Apply your hydrodynamics expertise in daily office work
- Apply your stability expertise in daily office work
- Apply your cad expertise in daily office work
- Work safely and follow company HSE procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and project teams
Requirements
- MSc Naval Architecture
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Good English; local language is a plus
- Right to work in the EU (visa support may be available)
