About the role

Damen Shipyards is looking for a marine engineer to join its team in Vlissingen. Designs, operates and maintains propulsion, power and auxiliary systems on vessels and offshore assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical scope on repair and retrofit projects.
• Apply your diesel engines expertise in daily shipyard work
• Apply your propulsion expertise in daily shipyard work
• Apply your maintenance planning expertise in daily shipyard work
• Work safely and follow company HSE procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and project teams

Requirements

• BSc Marine/Mechanical Engineering
• STCW (for seagoing roles)
• 2–5 years relevant experience
• Good English; local language is a plus
• Right to work in the EU (visa support may be available)
